Bio Sketch
I am a first-year graduate student with a background in synthetic chemistry and an interest in bridging synthetic and analytical chemistry. I am interested in exploring the synthesis of iron-based mini-enzymes and small molecule transition-metal complexes to investigate the electrochemical reduction of nitrite/nitrate in water.
Outside the lab, I enjoy spending time outdoors with friends and exploring new places whenever I can. I also like binge-watching movies and anime. Another hobby of mine is experimenting in the kitchen, trying out new dishes, often with a questionable success rate.
If I were a cobalt complex I'd be Cobalt tetrachloride [CoCl4]2-, high energy and colorful, always responsive to changes, just like I am to new challenges in the lab.
