Bio Sketch

My research focuses on designing light-driven bioinspired catalytic systems for CO2 reduction using cytochrome c based synthetic mini proteins and CdSe quantum dots. I investigate how peptide active site structures, loop flexibility, and quatum dot surface interactions influence catalytic activity and charge transfer processes.

Outside of the lab, I enjoy dancing, writing, traveling, and exploring places around with my friends, and on quieter days, I love spending time on my passion for reading classic novels and philosophical fiction!

If I were a cobalt complex I'd be "Cobaltocene", as its unapologetically purple and giving a total sandwich energy just like me bundled up for Rochester winters!🔮🥪
