Why did you choose the University of Rochester?
I was really attracted to the open curriculum at the UR. It was different from other schools and would allow me to take courses in what I am interested in.
Why did you choose to major in business?
The Simon Undergraduate Business major allows students to take courses in lots of different subjects.
What has been your favorite undergraduate business course and why?
Professor Primo's nonmarket strategy courses and Professor Shanahan's business law courses have been my favorite courses. They have allowed me to combine my interest in political science and apply these principles and skills to the business environment.
What are your activities outside of class?
Undergrad Political Science and International Relations Council, Pre-Law Society, Former Peer Advisor at the Center for Education Abroad
Have you completed any internships?
Massachusetts Governor's Internship, Communications Internship at the Pioneer Institute, and Field Director on a US Senate Campaign
What are your career goals?
I plan to attend law school and work to become a estate planning attorney.

What is one positive thing that has come from the pandemic for you? Allowed me to spend more time with my family.
What is one piece of advice you would tell your past self the summer before starting at UR?
Relax. Take advantage of your break between high school and UR. Don't spend the whole summer stressing about the next four years.
