Support the School of Arts & Sciences

Learn, Discover, Heal, Create—and Make the World Ever Better

A strong liberal arts education is at the heart of the School of Arts & Sciences, and at the University of Rochester. For us, this means teaching more than the arts and humanities, the social sciences, and the natural sciences—it means sparking curiosity, a thirst for knowledge, and a drive to address and solve problems that cut across disciplines.

We are steadfast in our commitment to our students and our faculty, and to providing a world-class academic and research experience. Please join us—gifts of any size help us make the world ever better.

Ways to Help

Your generosity can support:

  • Scholarships and fellowships
  • Professorships
  • Student and faculty research
  • Experiential learning opportunities (for study abroad, internships, and more)
  • Capital improvements (for equipment and classroom/lab space)

Volunteer

Join the George Eastman Circle

Please consider joining the George Eastman Circle (GEC), the University’s leadership annual giving society. GEC gifts can be directed to the School of Arts & Sciences’ Annual Fund, which provides the necessary ongoing resources for us to support our students, faculty, and programs. These gifts can also be directed to a specific academic department by noting designation to the dean’s fund for your preferred department.

Gift Planning

Gift Planning can help you align your personal and family financial goals with your desire to support the School of Arts & Sciences. Planned gifts have a meaningful and long-lasting impact on the lives of future generations at the University of Rochester.

Wilson Society

The Wilson Society honors and celebrates philanthropic individuals who have named the University as a beneficiary of retirement assets, included the University in their will or living trust, or funded a life-income gift. Imagine your personal legacy and explore Ways to Give to become a member.
