Brigitt Markusfeld
Brigitt Markusfeld is currently an Actor/Educator with Geva Theatre Center. Some of her acting credits at Geva include, Steel Magnolias, To Kill a Mockingbird, You Can’t Take It With You, The Weir, Guess Who’s Coming to Dinner, The Illusion, Comedy of Errors, Triumph of Love, Our Town, Stranded on Earth and Picasso At The Lapine Agile. As a Geva artist/educator Brigitt has helped create and taught in-school programming, and taught a variety of different levels of acting classes as well as acting for the camera through the Geva/Suny Brockport alliance. Brigitt hales from Los Angeles where she was a founding member of A Noise Within and acted in the company in Coriolanus, Way of the World, Hamlet and Blood Wedding. Other Regions theatre credits include Last Cigar, Stella and Lou, Richard III,The Tempest, As You Like It, Merchant of Venice, The Rivals, Country Wife,Charley’s Aunt, and Over The Tavern. Brigitt has also appeared on television in The Bold and The Beautiful, Picket Fences, Tour of Duty and Second Chances. She’s done a variety of national on-camera commercials. In Rochester Brigitt coaches, teaches acting, auditioning and Acting for the Camera at RIT, Suny Brockport, Nazareth College . She did graduate work at The American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco.
