Graduate History Society
Formed in 2009, the Graduate History Society (GHS) serves to:
- Represent the interests of the history graduate students to University of Rochester faculty, staff, and administration
- Enrich the intellectual and social life of the graduate students
- Promote historical studies at the University of Rochester and in the surrounding community
Membership is open to all graduate students enrolled in the University of Rochester’s graduate history program.
Current GHS Officers:
Marissa Cranell Ash - Correspondence Secretary: The Correspondence Secretary sends out a weekly schedule to the grad students and any other messages from the GHS.
Andrew Russo - Social Secretary: The Social Secretary organizes the monthly off-campus event, History on Tap, and keeps the calendar up to date regarding events and student birthdays.
Alice Wynd - Education Secretary: The Education Secretary organizes History at Work once a month as well as professional development events for the grad students.
