Hey I’m Duong, an optimist from Vietnam. When writing this, I am currently a junior student at NTU Singapore and an i-Scholar student under the supervision of Prof. Agnes. I believe there are no borders between different chemistry fields, and working with Prof. Agnes at URochester is a golden and unique opportunity for me to explore the inorganic chemistry field which I have never done before. To be honest, I am definitely an introverted person but when I spend enough time with you, I will be a talkative person. I am also really interested in traveling to new places and willing to experience new things. I was the one who really likes fast food (KFC, pizzas, sweets…) but my body unfortunately did not like that so much as I did (so sad!), so I had gout when I was 19. However, that’s life and so far, I still lived well with it by eating less red meat, fast food, and eating more vegetables, which I hate the most (“so sad!” repeated a thousand times).
