Hi, my name is James Kim. I’m from Burke, VA. My interest in chemistry started in my bathroom as a toddler making “magic potions” with shampoo and toothpaste, but I’ve continued this passion as a Chemistry major at U of R. Through undergrad, I became a TA and a chem tutor. Now, I am excited to be involved in research to further explore the wonders of chemistry. Apart from chemistry, I spend my time 3-D modeling/rendering or online shopping. I always study with Dance Moms or Real Housewives in the background (the fights help me focus for some reason).
