My name is Steven Riera. I was born and raised in New Jersey. Currently, I am a junior at the University of Rochester majoring in chemistry. Learning how chemistry explains phenomena we see everyday, how it provides understanding to biological processes, and its application to drug development and clean energy all brought my interest to chemistry. In the future, my goal is to attend medical school and become a doctor.
