The
University of Rochester Nuclear Chemistry group performs experimental
and theoretical research in basic and applied nuclear science. The group's own local
laboratory is used for student training, instrument development, and
preparations for experiments at major nuclear research facilities in
the U.S. and in Europe. In collaboration with the Laboratory of Laser Energetics, the group studies tritium interactions with materials.
