Lakshan Manathunga
Lakshan is a Postdoctoral Associate in the Nilsson Group, where his research focuses on the design, synthesis, and characterization of self-assembling peptides. His current work includes developing self-assembling glycopeptide conjugates engineered to selectively bind and trap cholera toxin. He is also engaged in the design and synthesis of low molecular weight gelators, with a focus on elucidating their gelation mechanisms under different conditions to enhance their functional applications.
