We’re a young interdisciplinary lab welcoming to scientists from all background (physical chemistry, biochemistry, organic chemistry, etc.) to join us! Here in Jiang lab, members are exposed to interdisciplinary research environment to study and utilize biomolecular systems that host excited state processes for catalysis and photoresponse biology.

For Postdoctoral Positions: We are hiring scientists with expertise from microscopy and spectroscopy, molecular biology and synthetic chemistry. Please send Yishu a CV and a short research summary at yishu.jiang@rochester.edu.

For Graduate Student Position: Current and perspective graduate student interested in joining please directly contact Yishu at yishu.jiang@rochester.edu. Students from other programs such as Biochemistry and Biophysics are also welcomed. Information about Chemistry Graduate program at U of R can be found here.

For Undergraduate Student Research: Please directly contact Yishu at yishu.jiang@rochester.edu if interested.

In Jiang Lab, we strive to foster an inspiring, exciting, collaborative, and supportive environment for members of all backgrounds. We are committed to offer an inclusive education and work space for scientists of different backgrounds, experiences, scientific preferences, and worldviews. Therefore, we are always welcoming to people who are excited about science regardless of race, religion, age, sexual orientation, or gender.
