Below is a list of bee species and their floral hosts collected in the San Bernardino Valley from the year 2000 to 2011. Some specimens of bees and plants are not identified, or have not had their identities adequately confirmed. Periodic updates of the data will be made to reflect these changes.
Besides ongoing identifications, another word of caution is that visits to floral hosts are scored regardless of the number of visits to the host, and regardless of sex or if the bee visit was to collect pollen, nectar, or both. Therefore, any conclusions about the significance to the pollination relationship from these tables would be tenuous, and possibly incorrect.
