UR Faculty Are Co-Organizing ACAL57

The University at Buffalo will host the 57th Annual Conference on African Linguistics (ACAL 57) on May 21-23, 2026. ACAL 57 is co-organized by members of the department of Linguistics at the University at Buffalo, the department of Linguistics at the University of Rochester, and the department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University.

University of Rochester's Department of Linguistics faculty members on the local ACAL committee include Scott Grimm, Nadine Grimm, and Asia Pietraszko.
