Nadine Grimm jointly appointed as James P. Wilmot Assistant Professor
Nadine Grimm, an assistant professor of linguistics, has been jointly appointed as the James P. Wilmot Assistant Professor.
Grimm's research focuses grammatical tone, language documentation and description, typology, and African languages (particularly Bantu).
In 1982 James P. Wilmot endowed a fund to support "some of the most promising young men and women in the early stages of their academic careers." The fund supports the appointment of four Wilmot Assistant Professors, one in each of the major divisions of Arts, Sciences and Engineering.
