Carl Mueller named a Fellow of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics

UR Math professor Carl Mueller has been named to the 2016 class of Fellows of the Institute of Mathematical Statistics.
The Fellows program recognizes members who “shall have demonstrated distinction in research in statistics or probability, by publication of independent work of merit”. The citation recognizes Professor Mueller “for fundamental and influential contributions in stochastic partial differential equations and measure-value diffusions; and for his important services to the community”.
