Luncheon and Talk
The Susan B. Anthony Center for Women's Leadership will be hosting this annual luncheon and talk. This event will begin with a keynote by Dr. Sheree Toth, executive director of Mt. Hope Family Center, discussing the state of the science on child health and wellness from a biopsychosocial perspective ("Children in Crisis: Reclaiming Their Biophysical Health").
A luncheon buffet will be served. Following is a panel discussion that will include information on the UR-Rochester connections and how we are building healthy children.
Prior to this event, there will be a meet and greet from 11:15-Noon with local children’s service providers to learn about what services local agencies and organizations offer to help children.
This event is part of Meliora Weekend, and you can learn more about it here or by contacting the Susan B. Anthony Center for Women's Leadership (acwl@ur.rochester.edu).
