Position/What you do at U of R?
I am a PhD candidate in the Atmospheric Chemistry & Climate Group. In my current project, I am studying anthropogenic sources of methane to New York State.
Where are you from?
I grew up outside of Boston, MA and went to high school and undergrad in central Virginia.
What got you interested in Earth and Environmental Sciences?
A love of nature and a desire to understand and do something about climate change.
What do you enjoy most about U of R?
My research! It's why I'm here. Still haven't met anyone who has a cooler research topic than I do.
Do you have any hidden talents or hobbies?
I like baking and trying new recipes. I've been making a lot of pies and scones lately to take advantage of the variety of fresh fruit at the public market.
What is your favorite book?
The Dispossessed by Ursula K. LeGuin.
