Position/What you do at U of R?
I am a PhD candidate studying methane dynamics in the coastal ocean.
Where are you from?
Ballston Spa, NY
What got you interested in Earth and Environmental Sciences?
I think I’ve always been interested in environmental science since I was a kid. I got more specifically into oceanography and greenhouse gases while doing my masters.
What do you enjoy most about U of R?
I really enjoy the two labs that I’m in, and my lab mates. As well as the field research opportunities that UR has given me.
What is your favorite thing to do in Rochester, NY?
I have season tickets to Flower City Union, a local soccer team who won their professional championship a few years ago.
