Biography
Donna DeLuca has been a passionate advocate for mindful self-care for greater health for over 40 years. She is certified to teach Qigong by Master Lisa B O’Shea of the Rochester Qigong Center, as well as Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction through the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center. Currently, she’s training as a provider of Emotional Brain Training, which is a science-based form of stress reduction using self-directed neuroplasticity.
Donna was an Ada Comstock Scholar at Smith College, and her master’s degree is in Exercise Science with a concentration in Behavioral Heath Psychology. In the past, Donna created the first Employee Fitness Program at the Centers for Disease Control, served on the Core Faculty of the Omega Institute and directed their Wellness Center, and founded the progressive wellness center New Moves in Atlanta. She loves co-creating a lively, supportive class atmosphere with her students and sharing the profoundly transformative potential of Qigong.
