Over the past two months, allegations of election fraud have sparked protests attracting thousands of Belarussians, who are demanding the resignation of authoritarian leader Alexander Lukashenko. Our roundtable panelists will discuss the domestic and international dimensions of the current crisis.

Sasha Razor (UCLA), a specialist in Belorussian studies, will deliver a keynote talk followed by comments from panelists Matthew Lenoe (UR), a Russian historian; Piotr Klodkowski (Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland), former diplomat and Polish ambassador to India (2009-2014); Randall Stone (Political Science), director of the Skalny Center for Polish and Central European Studies; and Kseniya Kalaur, a University of Rochester undergraduate from Belarus who will provide an insider's perspective.
