I majored in Biological Engineering. I then moved to the US to pursue MS studies in Chemical Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. Upon graduating with my M.S. degree, I worked as a research assistant at Xiamen University for two years, before starting my Ph.D. journey at the University of Rochester in 2023.
