I went to Fordham University during my first year and then transferred to UR. I found Chemistry challenging but fascinating, and I constantly desire to learn more about reaction mechanisms. For the past summer, I did a plastic recycling REU program at SUNY University at Buffalo and learned about the upcycling of polyethylene by functionalizing LLDPE. A fun fact was we went to a zoo with no animal on a Friday night (when Buffalo Zoo\u2019s Zoomagination was happening, there was no animal).
