Group members will work at the interface of organic, biological, and materials chemistry, with particular emphasis placed on developing expertise in both synthesis and structural analysis.<\/p>\n<p><strong>UR Undergraduate Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Partridge Group will have 2 openings for Summer 2026! Please keep an eye out for more information regarding this in the Spring 2026.\u00a0Questions are welcome any time and can be sent to Prof. Partridge via <a href=\"mailto:benjamin.partridge@rochester.edu\">email<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Non-UR Undergraduate Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Department of Chemistry hosts two programs to give non-UR undergraduates the opportunity to conduct summer research with one of our faculty mentors:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Students in the US can apply to the department&#8217;s Research Experience for Undergraduates <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sas.rochester.edu\/chm\/undergraduate\/reu\/index.html\">(REU)<\/a> program in Chemistry for Medicine and Energy.<\/li>\n<li>Students outside the US can apply to the department&#8217;s International Summer Research <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sas.rochester.edu\/chm\/undergraduate\/i-scholar.html\">(iScholar)<\/a> program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Graduate Students<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Students interested in pursuing their Ph.D. studies with Prof. Partridge are encouraged to <a href=\"mailto:benjamin.partridge@rochester.edu\">email<\/a> him to discuss ongoing research projects. Ph.D. positions are awarded through an annual application cycle administered by the Department of Chemistry. More information is available <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sas.rochester.edu\/chm\/graduate\/apply.html\">here<\/a>. Applications are currently being accepted until December 1<sup>st<\/sup> for admission to the graduate program in August 2026.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Postdoctoral Fellows<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>There are no funded postdoctoral opportunities in the Partridge group at this time.<\/p>\n<p>Positions for postdoctoral fellows will be advertised on this page; application materials should be submitted per the job posting. Self-funded candidates or competitive applicants seeking support for fellowship applications are encouraged to contact Prof. Partridge via <a href=\"mailto:benjamin.partridge@rochester.edu\">email<\/a>.
