My research interest is focused on the molecular mechanisms of innate immunity in long-lived mammals, particularly in the context of aging. I aim to understand how these animals cope with chronic inflammation and the practical implications of these findings. Additionally, I study the biochemical properties of SIRT6, including its interactome, enzymatic activities, and post-translational modifications.
