Josh Higgason

Joshua Higgason is a video, scenic, lighting, and interactive media designer. He recently designed Augmented Reality and Projections for Parsifal at Bayreuther Festspiele. Recent projection designs: Omar (LA Opera, San Francisco Opera, BLO, Spoleto); Émigré (NY Phil); and Michael R. Jackson’s White Girl In Danger (Second Stage NYC).  Additional designs: Sufjan Stevens, Zvidance, Radiolab, Ira Glass, Daniel Fish, Lucinda Childs, Big Dance Theater, and Christine Jones’ Theatre for One. Designs have appeared at BAM, La Scala, Volksoper Wien, Carnegie Hall, TED, SXSW, and MassMoCA. He teaches theater design at MIT.
